Myofasciale therapie behandelt pijnen die hun oorzaak vinden in een verkeerd functioneren van spieren. In deze spieren ontwikkelen zich pijnpunten of triggerpoints, die klachten veroorzaken met een specifieke locatie en uitstralingszone.<\/p>\n

Via onderzoek kunnen we deze punten opzoeken en behandelen door middel van dry needling en manuele technieken. Belangrijk om te weten is dat dry needling geen acupunctuur is. Hierbij worden zogenaamde meridianen (energiebanen) behandeld. Bij dry needling maken we gebruik van dezelfde soort naald, maar deze wordt in het triggerpoint in de spier aangebracht.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
